AskVault vs SiteGPT (2026) - pages vs megabytes, compared honestly
The short answer
AskVault suits teams with a lot of content, several brands or sites, or customers on WhatsApp and Telegram. SiteGPT suits high-traffic sites with modest content, since it includes more messages per dollar.
Both products crawl your website and answer from it. They just count different things, and that changes which one is cheaper for you.
Pricing side by side
SiteGPT figures were checked against SiteGPT's pricing page on 2026-10-24. AskVault figures come from the live AskVault pricing page. All prices are month-to-month; SiteGPT's annual billing is 34% to 40% cheaper.

The page-to-megabyte figures are our own arithmetic. SiteGPT's pricing page describes a page as 2,500 characters and publishes no megabyte number, so 1,000 pages works out to roughly 2.5 MB of text.
Megabytes or pages: which suits your site?
Page metering is easy to predict before you start, because you can count your sitemap. It is a rough unit, though: a short FAQ entry and a long manual page can count the same, so the real amount of text you can index varies a lot from site to site.
Megabyte metering tracks the text that actually gets indexed and searched. A help center full of short FAQ entries uses very little, while manuals and policy PDFs use more. If you are unsure, sign up for the Free plan, crawl your site, and read the storage figure in the usage meter. Our reasoning is laid out in why AskVault meters megabytes.
Channels
AskVault covers more messaging apps; SiteGPT covers more help desks.
AskVault includes the website widget and a hosted chat page on every plan, the REST API from Starter, and WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, SMS and email from Growth, all answered by one agent and one inbox.
SiteGPT's entry plan has no chat integrations and no API; its higher plans add help-desk and chat integrations, so check its pricing page for the current list.
Where SiteGPT is the better choice
- More messages for the money. 4,000, 10,000 and 40,000 messages a month on its lighter model, against AskVault's 2,000, 6,000 and 15,000. If your site gets heavy traffic and has little content, SiteGPT is cheaper per answer.
- Easy to forecast. You know your page count before you buy.
- A steep annual discount. If you will commit for a year, the price gap narrows sharply or flips.
- Track record. SiteGPT has paying customers and a public history. AskVault has no public reference customers yet.
Where AskVault is the better choice
- More content per dollar. 15 MB against roughly 2.5 MB at the entry tier, at a lower month-to-month price.
- More agents. Two workspaces on Starter and fifteen on Business, against one and three chatbots.
- Branding removal included from Growth instead of a paid add-on.
- Messaging apps your customers already use: WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS on Growth, with human handoff into a live chat inbox.
- JavaScript-heavy sites. The crawler renders React and Vue pages so they index with their real text. See how the crawler works.
