App Directory
Open App Directory in the dashboard sidebar to see the channels, CRMs and tools AskVault works with. Apps that are not available yet are marked Coming soon.
App connections
Growth+These apps connect through their own sign-in and approval screen, so AskVault can act on your behalf. WooCommerce uses its store-admin approval screen, which issues AskVault an API key; the others use OAuth.
For anything else, the custom webhook skill can call your own API from a conversation.
Where to connect
You connect an app from the place that uses it:
- Skills. A skill that needs an app shows Connect for that app. After you connect, the same place shows that the app is connected, with a button to disconnect.
- Knowledge. Notion is connected from Knowledge when you add Notion content.
Connecting takes you to the app's own sign-in page to approve access, then back to AskVault.
Connection status
Each connection has one of these states:
- Active. Connected and ready to use.
- Pending. You started connecting but did not finish the approval.
- Expired. Access ran out and could not be renewed. Reconnect.
- Revoked. Disconnected, from AskVault or from the app's side. Reconnect to use it again.
- Error. The last check of the connection failed. Reconnect.
Connections are per workspace, and each workspace has one connection per app.
Disconnecting
When you disconnect:
- AskVault asks the app to revoke its access, and deletes the access token it stored.
- Skills that need that app stop working until you reconnect.
- Content already added to your knowledge base is not deleted. To remove it, delete the source in Knowledge.
Reconnecting
Click Connect again. You go through the app's sign-in and approval again.

Common pitfalls
You cannot connect an app. Sign-in connections need Growth or above, and some apps (such as Salesforce and Zendesk imports) need Business. Check your plan.
A connection shows Expired or Error. Reconnect it. If it fails again, email [email protected] with the app name.
Connected in one workspace, missing in another. Connections are per workspace. Connect the app in each workspace that needs it.
FAQ
Does disconnecting delete my data?
No. Content already in your knowledge base stays until you delete the source.
Will the app know AskVault is connected?
Yes. You approve the connection on the app's own page, and most apps list the apps you have authorized in their settings.
