Account notices

Sometimes we find that a number on your dashboard was counted too generously, and we fix it. When the fix makes a number go down, we tell you, so a lower figure doesn't look like your agent got worse.

What you get

One notice per correction for each agent (workspace) you own, in the notification bell, the next time you open AskVault after the change. Each notice names the agent and says:

  • what changed in how we count,
  • why the number is lower than before,
  • that nothing changed for your customers: your AI answers them exactly as before,
  • a link to that agent's Analytics page.

You get each notice once per agent. It is never repeated, even after you read it. If you own many agents, the notices arrive over a few minutes rather than all at once.

Notices go to the workspace owner. Teammates don't get them. An agent with no conversations yet doesn't get one (there is no earlier number to compare with).

Go to Settings → Account notices. The bell is always on. You can also turn on:

  • Email: sent to your account email address, one email per agent. Your email address must be verified.
  • Slack: posted to each agent's own Slack incoming webhook, the one you added under Webhooks for that agent. If an agent has more than one enabled Slack webhook, the most recently added one is used. An agent with no Slack webhook gets the notice in the bell (and by email, if on) but nothing in Slack. Until at least one of your agents has a Slack webhook, the switch says Connect Slack first.
  • WhatsApp, Telegram: sent by the agent itself, through that agent's own connected WhatsApp number or Telegram bot, to the phone or chat you linked (see below). Until you link one, the switch says Link your WhatsApp first (or Telegram).

Every extra channel starts off. Each copy is sent once.

You link a phone or chat per agent, by proving you can message that agent. Nothing is typed in, so a mistyped number can't send your notices to someone else.

  1. Go to Settings → Account notices → Your WhatsApp and Telegram.
  2. Next to the agent, choose Link WhatsApp or Link Telegram. You get a one-time code, such as AV-7KQ2-M9XP.
  3. From your phone, send that code to that agent's WhatsApp number, or to its Telegram bot in a private chat. For Telegram you can tap Open in Telegram and press Start.
  4. The agent replies Connected. Choose I've sent it to refresh the page.

The code works once and expires after 10 minutes. It only works on the agent it was made for. Your linking message doesn't become a customer conversation, and the AI doesn't answer it. If the agent's WhatsApp or Telegram isn't connected yet, connect it under Deploy first.

To stop, turn the switch off, or choose Unlink next to the agent.
